Being a student visionary for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is incredibly important to me because I have the opportunity to give patients hope and make an impact to save lives. By supporting LLS, I am helping to fund research and provide support to patients and families affected by blood cancers. Seeing someone you care about go through the challenges of battling cancer can be heartbreaking, and it motivates me to do whatever I can to support research and find a cure.

Last year, I had lost my grandpa to stage four gastric cancer and Lymphoma and understand the extreme challenge it entails not only for the patient but also to the family and all those affiliated. By getting involved with LLS, I have the opportunity to educate my peers and community about the impact of leukemia and lymphoma. This awareness can lead to earlier detection, improved treatment options, and ultimately, more lives saved. Being a student visionary for LLS allows me to be a part of something bigger than myself. I have the chance to collaborate with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the fight against blood cancers.

Together, we can work towards a world free of cancer.
